The NOM-030-STPS-200 Standard in Occupational Health
The NOM-030-STPS-200 Standard aims to establish functions and activities for preventive Occupational Safety and Health services within organizations.
It focuses on preventing workplace accidents and occupational illnesses. These services are carried out by trained personnel who provide guidance and perform prevention, protection, and control activities.
According to the STPS, this personnel may be external, internal, or a combination of both. The standard seeks to ensure workplace safety and health by involving qualified professionals and promoting preventive measures within organizations.
An important detail is that company information must be kept up to date, along with follow-up reports and personnel training records.
